We enjoyed a birthday lunch with all sorts of goodies from the extensive menu, everything we ordered was so delicious, fresh and served in a gorgeous room by very helpful and attentive staffembers It was a wonderful experience and I have just made reservations for this coming Tuesday and I am bringing my good friend from here in Sonoma County.

Made a reservation ahead of time and got seated immediately! It was very packed for lunch at 11 am since it was a holiday. Once we ordered, all the food came really quickly. Highlights: Scallop shumai, chicken feet, bbq pork bao, stuffed eggplant with shrimp Misses: Beef congee (no flavor)

This was my first time at The Dragon Beaux. This is a great place, if you plan to visit come with appetite, the food is delicious! Plenty of delicious dishes to choose from and their service is excellent. We had a five pm reservation and were seated as soon as we arrived. We ordered a few more dishes than pictured and I will say their dim sum is some of if not the best I have had. The beef wagyu was cooked perfectly well and it was soft and juicy. My wife's favorite is the spicy sea bass. This dish was seasoned just right, I love the fact it's cut in small pieces because I picked at it as I ate servings from other dishes. The dish that really hit the spot for me and i had never tried before is the squid ink fried rice. This rice is full of flavor! It comes with pieces of small shrimp and squid. The ink of the squid adds the dark color to the rice topped off with an egg on top. The egg is cooked in such a way that it looks like lemon zest at first sight, but it's not, it's a cooked egg. The overall ambiance is great! Not too loud, the noise level is perfect for a conversation within the table without having to scream across the table. This was definitely a great experience! My only regret is not taking more pictures! I was too busy eating. Everything was delicious!

Finally! I don't live in the city and we made a special trip to try Dragon Beaux. We made reservations thru yelp for 12:30pm. When we got to the restaurant, we waited another 20mins to get seated. This place gets packed. If you are not making reservations online, you probably need to bring your patience with you. Once seated, your food comes lightning fast. The service is good and the food is good as well. I highly recommended the roast pork belly. It's cooked perfectly. We also ordered the pan fried noodles (not in pic) and that was also delicious. The seafood was so fresh. I would go back again. FYI: There is only street parking and when we found a spot, I felt like I won the lottery!

One of your higher end, fancier vibe dim sum spots perfect for a celebration! Made a reservation for my large party a few weeks before and were seating right away upon arrival for lunch. Things we loved: - Shrimp dumpling (har gao) (5/5) - Crab roe shiu mai (5/5) - Baked pork buns (5/5) - you MUST try these, made with a flaky sweet crust that reminds me of a pineapple bun. - Xio long bao soup dumplings (4/5) - delicious with the ginger sauce - Chow fun (5/5) - Lava egg yolk bun (5/5) - sweet egg yolk exploding in your mouth! Use caution haha. Soooo good tho. - Chinese broccoli Unfortunately, the only misstep was that the restaurant forgot about our order of chili oil wontons; we followed them up, but by the time they brought it out we were already done with our meal. All the other food came out quickly and was so delicious! Parking can be difficult in this part of SF, but there is street parking and a nearby lot if you get lucky

Growing up, one of the fondest memories I have of going to dim sum with my family was getting to check out all of the carts of food that would circle around from one table to the next. The heightening anticipation of what was coming next followed by the sheer excitement to see that it included one of the dishes I wanted? Unbeatable! Which is just about the only bad thing about Dragon Beaux - seemingly not a single cart to be found. Yet, as much of a bummer as that is, it doesn't seem so bad when the food is this good! Now, if you've ever been to Koi Palace in Daly City, the food here should look pretty familiar, as the two are sister restaurants (though, the concept here is a bit more modern). Similarly, just the general feel of this place is also a bit nicer, but really, it's all about the food which is fantastic! Since the menus are formatted differently, it's hard to say for sure whether or not the offerings at both places are entirely the same. However, the majority, if not all, of your usual dim sum staples (and pretty much all of my personal favorites from Koi Palace) are here - from your standard Shiu Mai and Ha Cheung Fun (Shrimp Rice Crepe Roll) to their Crispy Roast Pork Belly, Baked Char Shiu Bao, and Xiao Long Bao. Not only that, but everything tastes just as good, if not better, here! -- (#1101) SHIU MAI - Pork & Shrimp Steamed Dumplings Not the best I've had, but really good. The pork is always juicy and has a great, porky taste to them. Plus, the pieces are always pretty meaty, though not in a heavy sort of way. -- (#1104) HAR GOW - Shrimp Dumpling More solid than spectacular, but there's nothing wrong with that. The filling isn't super plump, but it's decently flavorful (the shrimp has a nice sweetness) and the skin is perfectly soft and tender. -- (#1301) SHRIMP RICE CREPE ROLL In the best of ways, this is pretty standard. I've had a lot of hit or miss types, but this is pretty consistent. The shrimp are fairly sized, the rice noodles have a nice bite to them, and the rolls are bigger than most I've had. -- (#1817) JIN DUI - Fried Red Bean Sesame Ball We don't always get this, but it's one of my favorites. The balls are crispy and golden brown while the filing is so, so good - the texture isn't thick/gloppy nor is it super sweet either. -- (#1501) CLASSIC STEAMED BBQ PORK BAO Their Baked Pork Bao is better (see below), but this is still pretty good. The bun is pillowy soft and the filling is super meaty. Plus, it never seems to have those tough tendon pieces and the sauce isn't overly sweet. -- (#1108) XO SPINACH DUMPLING It's somewhat similar to Har Gow, but better. The shrimp is good, and I like what the spinach adds, but it's the XO sauce that won me over - it just made everything even tastier! -- (#1207) CRISPY ORGANIC MILK ROLL I don't often get this (more because I don't see it), but this was fantastic! The batter was super crispy yet not all that oily and the inside was milky and piping hot. And did I mention it's quite tasty? Loved this. -- (#1412) ROASTED PORK BELLY A little pricey for the portion, but so delicious! Every time I've had this, it has been perfect - super crispy skin, not a lot of fat, and ridiculously juicy. I just feel like an idiot for not having a photo... -- (#1512) BAKED BBQ PORK BAO Amazingly, I don't have a photo of our other must get either! The filling is just as good as the steamed one, and I love how soft and golden brown the bun is, but it's the topping that must this so good - so flakey and flavorful! Besides how awesome the food is, the other thing that I like about Dragon Beaux is how surprisingly good the service is. Rather than the typically short, "move it along" type of vibe at other places, the workers here are actually relatively friendly and even joked with one of my friends. Plus, everything moves rather efficiently, from getting tables set up to the food coming out, so even when there's a line (which there always is unless you are part of the first wave), the wait never feels painfully long. The one thing I do wish they had was their own parking lot, like Koi Palace, but that's only one Sundays when parking meters are off. Otherwise, it's safe to say that Dragon Beaux has easily established itself as my favorite dim sum joint...even without the carts.

As someone who pleads to guilty to ordering an excess of delicious food, I was surprised to strike the perfect amount of dim sum during lunch at Dragon Beaux. Famously difficult to get a reservation, this restaurant boasts a combined approach to both high quality dim sum and hot pot. Luckily we made a noon reservation and were seated right upon arrival. In true casual Chinese dining fashion, we were seated at the same table as another party, which we did not mind at all--the more the merrier! We ordered five dishes, which did not disappoint. The shu mai, chang fen, and shrimp dumplings were solid classics. My favorite was definitely the sea bass dumplings; the filling was full of shrimp and juicy and steamed to perfection, encased in gooey rice wrapping. This dish was definitely the winner. Depending on the size and function of your party, this is a quick meal that satisfies all your dim sum cravings.

My Sunday morning at Dragon Beaux was a symphony of taste and tradition, an experience I can't wait to relive. From the vibrant green of the spinach and shrimp dumplings to the artful presentation of the five-flavor xiao long bao, every bite was a journey through exquisite flavors. The charcoal layers of the squid ink rolls added a dramatic twist to the meal, both visually and palate-wise. And the crispy, crackling skin of the roast pork belly was a textural masterpiece, with succulent meat that melted in the mouth. For anyone seeking culinary adventure in SF, this spot is a must-visit.

A popular dimsum place in Richmond! We went at 11:30 and it was already packed! Dimsum was good - they had more unique dishes than traditional dimsum places - for example their turnip cake came with xo sauce, and they had xo rice rolls! (I love XO so this was a plus for me). Service was good - staff were attentive when our tea needed refilling. Overall a good experience and decent prices!
